The rules.
All of them.
There aren't many, and none of them are in the fine print. If you bid here, you should know exactly what you get and what you don't.
The bid sets the rank.
The leaderboard is sorted by cumulative bid. Descending. Nothing else: no ratings, no clicks, no jury, no algorithm, no hidden weighting.
Bids never expire.
No weekly reset, no monthly reset, no subscription, no decay. Your cumulative bid stays until you raise it.
Entry from CHF 5.
A new company joins with at least CHF 5. You don't have to bid for #1: how much you bid sets your spot.
Topping up costs the difference.
Raising your bid only costs the difference to the new total.
Outbid? You slide down.
If you're outbid, you lose the spot, not the bid. Your listing stays, just further down. There's no refund for that: you pay for your bid, not for a guaranteed spot.
#1 costs +5, any other +5.
To take #1 you need CHF 5 more than the current leader. For any other spot, CHF 5 more is enough.
One bid, two lists.
A company has exactly one bid. It counts in its category and in the leaderboard. There are no separate bids per list, and bid value can't be moved between categories.
Tie: whoever got there first.
If two entries have the same bid, the one that reached the amount first ranks higher.
One company, one entry.
A domain is one entry. example.ch, www.example.ch and https://example.ch/ are the same company. Anyone already listed is redirected to raise their bid, not listed again.
The bids are public.
Public are: rank, company, cumulative bid and clicks. Every raise also runs live through the feed. Only your payment and contact details stay private.
What doesn't make the list.
Malware, fraud, impersonation, illegal offers, adult content, misleading redirects, affiliate spam. We review entries and remove violations. A removed entry is not refunded.
Clicks don't count toward rank.
Outbound clicks are public and obvious bots are filtered. Clicks have no influence on rank. See rule 01.
